The Freedom Wandering Prevention device allows a higher degree of safe independence for those prone to wandering (Autism & Dementia) while giving caregivers and parents greater peace of mind. Set movable safe zones in or outdoors using the portable receiver. If these safe zones are crossed, the Freedom watch sets off a visual and audible alarm sending the wander’s current location by email and/or text message directly to the caregiver, parent or call station. It works with a Smartphone or computer from anywhere in the world. There’s also a built in panic button.
Freedom contents are:
– Freedom Watch
– Freedom Mobile RF Receiver
– Freedom Charging Base unit for RF Receiver and Watch
Freedom is using both RF and GSM technology to communicate position data.
30-Day Battery Life – In proximity of the portable receiver, the long-life rechargeable battery doesn’t need to be recharged for thirty days. Battery life will be diminished when GPS/GMS mode is being activated.
Lockable Hypoallergenic Wristband – The non-allergenic wristband can only be removed using the supplied key. The Freedom watch can’t fall off by accident or be forcibly removed. It can only be removed by the caregiver. Scratch and shockproof.
Portable Receiver – When not charging in the base, the receiver can be carried around. This allow you to set movable safe zones while on the go (0 to 100 yards from the Freedom watch).
RF/GPS/GSM Compatible – When the Freedom watch is in close proximity to the portable receiver, it uses RF mode. Out of range it automatically switches to GPS or GSM (Satellite or Mobile technology) to find its location.
SOS Panic Button – When button is depressed, the device will immediately alert preregistered caregivers. Accurate within 10 feet around the globe.
Water Resistant – Splash proof/cannot be submerged.
Location can be viewed on a PC or mobile Smartphone – Logging into the Freedom portal, you can instantly locate the watch on Google maps. You can also locate the Freedom watch from anywhere with an Internet connection or from a text message.
